Speaking at a study day on the provisions of the law no.19-12, held at the initiative of the Ministry of Labor and Professional Integration, in collaboration with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Amekraz highlighted the increase in the number of declarations of domestic workers to the CNSS.

The implementation of this law is an important legislative step, given its compliance with international labor standards, he said at this event which celebrates the second anniversary of the entry into force of law no. 19-12.

Minister of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality and Family, Jamila El Moussali, stressed that the valorization of vulnerable professions is a necessary step in the fight against poverty.

Public prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, president of the Public Prosecution, Mohamed Abdennabaoui, stressed that the implementation of the law No. 19-12 provides the necessary legal protection for domestic workers.

Rania Bikhazi, Director of the ILO Regional Office for Arab States, commended the efforts made by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Labor and Professional Integration to strengthen social justice.

On the occasion of this meeting, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Labor and Professional Integration, aimed at promoting coordination and cooperation.
