An Ohio sheriff is sending a warning to the public to beware of online quizzes that could lead to identity theft.

Sheriff Dallas Baldwin with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook Tuesday saying that while online quizzes can be fun, they can also be revealing to your personal information.

“Protecting your password isn’t a game,” a graphic posted by the sheriff’s office stated.

Many of these online quizzes ask you questions that reveal the same information websites use for security questions. Those may be questions such as: “What was your first job?” “What is your favorite movie?” “What is your hometown?” or “What is your favorite restaurant?”

“Stop giving people your personal information to guess your passwords and security questions,” the graphic said. “Don’t play games with your identity!”
